In 1970 I joined the Gurdjieff Foundation in Toronto and began a long study and practice of the profound teaching that Giorgi Ivanovitch Gurdjieff brought to the West.

In 2007, just after my 66^th birthday, I decided I needed to make a move or I was going to turn to dust. My 30 year career in the computer business had been interesting, in fact passionate at times, and had dealt with library automation, records management and the computerization of languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Inuktitut, Tibetan, Mongolian and Uighur. Little did I know as I set out that I was headed for something entirely different. Something that had been waiting for me all that time.

In the first year I became qualified to use hypnosis as a healing modality. After conducting a past life regression session for a close friend, she insisted that she had felt huge energy forces present during the session. “You absolutely must take training in energy healing,” was her advice.

In July of 2009, I took levels I & II of the Reconnective Healing® training, having found that in reading Eric Pearl’s book my hands had already become activated by this new frequency of energy which was first experienced by Eric himself in the 1990s.
